Publishing printers - none show up in AD

I have about 65 printers running on a Win2K print server in a Win2K AD domain. Every printer is share,d and the box labeled "List in the Directory" is checked. I can use the Start, Search For Printers operation and locate all of these printers, which makes me believe that they are, indeed, published, but they don't show up at all in Active Directory Users and Computers. I would like to get them all placed in OUs, but I can't see them. What am I missing
Thanks in advance
Dave

Nothing is missing. This is normal behaviour. You then have to create a new
printer object for each printer and point it to the queues you setup. Doing
all of this doesn't really buy you much...

Try this

In the run command enter gpedit.msc
Under Computer Configuration go to Administration
Templates.
Click on Printers
Allow printers to be published may be set to Disable
Enable it
