Publishing old webpage

Kim

I am a new FrontPage user and have updated the older
website file with some simple wording changes that I would
like to publish as the new webpage. When I preview it, it
incorporates the changes. When I publish it to the web,
it looks like it is publishing correctly but when I view
the new page, it is has the old wording. I do have
frontpage extensions installed...any thoughts would be
appreciated!

Alan,

Thanks but that did not made a difference. I tried it
again and it is still letting me preview the new data and
publishing the old data. Any other thoughts would be
appreciated.

Check your live site and see if the
page is named index.html and then
check your local web and see if it is named
index.htm

If so rename your local page to index.html
and then republish.

Make sure to check for htm/html differences and then, when you visit your
web page online, hold down the Control key when you press 'refresh' or F5.
That makes your browser search for new info instead of pulling the info from
your hard drive.
Good luck.
