Publish Outlook Calendar to Web

D

David French

I have just started looking into publishing my Outlook calendars to a Web
site
Windows XP
Office 2003
I have access to several shared calendars. When I publish one it works fine
but then I publish another one...change the name of the file and the
Title...I end up with the FIRST calendar I published and not the other one.
When I publish each to its own folder everything is fine.

Any thoughts out there??

Nevermind!!
I figured it out.
Each piece of the calendar is saved as a separate .HTM file. In order to
save several calendars the MUST be in their own folder.

Thank you for the offer.
Here is another question.

Does anyone have a suggestion of how to insert a hyperlink in a calendar
item that will work when published to a Web?
I will be publishing a schedule of classes and want the link to take them to
a description of the class.

Hi David,

Based on my knowledge, I am afraid it is not possible to include a
hyperlink in a calendar item.

According to my test, I insert a hyperlink in the calendar item and publish
it in the Web, when I open the item, it is only text information. And I
need to copy and paste it into IE address bar.

I even try to publish a Calendar Public Folder in web as
\\Exchange-Server\Exchange\Public\Calendar-Folder-Name, if I insert a
hyperlink in the calendar item, the same thing happens.

So based on the information above, I am afraid there isn't efficient way to
insert a hyperlink in the calendar item directly. Thanks for your
understanding.
