If you just want a snapshot you can copy an image of your desktop to the
clipboard with the 'PrtSc' key. You could then paste the image in to an
image editor and save it in a format of your choice and upload it to your
web site.
Thanks Dave. I am, however, looking to show live and
real time. Just like sharing desktop in NetMeeting, but
to a web page, so the others don't have to have
netmeeting running to see my display.
This much more complicated and not a standard part of XP. Probably not
impossible. Talk with a high-end windows/web developer. The "others"
will have to have something running, e.g. Java for the app you provide
them, or Active-X controls, or something.
RealVNC then access your desktop from a remote computer using the web
browser interface like this. http://your_conputer_address:58xx where xx is
the display number.
See the realvnc, tightvnc, winvnc sites as I think all the vnc
distributions have this web browser desktop access.
