Public FTP with dotnetfx.exe ?

Hi,

Someone knows about some public ftp or direct http link to download
dotnetfx.exe (Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 x86) ? And that it's OK to direct
link to the file. I want to provide a _direct_ link to download it, but I
can't upload it to my own homepage ftp because there is a 1 MB limit for
files. :/ I have tried som Googling and browsed Microsoft.com's public FTP
without finding it.

Hi Andreas,

I'm not abosultely sure On XP it's listed in the optional windows
updates, so folks can get it from there.

alternatively, there's the 2.0 redist package at:

As for FTP, I haven't use Microsoft FTP servers for years. I'm not sure they
actively update them.

Thanks for replying.

I would want to link directly to the exe-file, whether it's an HTTP or
public FTP does not really matters. Unfortunately I cannot upload it to my
own webspace because there is a 1 MB limit in filesize.

Well, that's what my option is if I cannot find a direct link to the
exe-file. I just thought it would be more handy to use a direct link to the
executable.
