Public Folder Calendar Reminders

I have set up a public folder which is a group calendar
containing important events for our company. We run
exchange 5.5 on NT 4 and the clients are windows 2000 pro
running Office 2000.

I need to know how i set up reminders for this public
folder.

I would like reminders from this calendar to go to one
person in our office, is there anyway to do this?

At this time your only option is to copy the appointments to the
user's default calendar folder. Items in public folders can't have
reminders. If you set a reminder on an item in a public folder it will
only turn red when overdue.

I'm planning on releasing an Outlook COM addin next month that will
provide reminders from public folders, but it's not quite ready for
release yet.
