Public folder calendar item automatically copied to private calendar ?

Hello;

Outlook 2003/Exchange 2003

Recently, one of my users complained that everytime he opens a calendar
item in a public folder, that item is copied to his private calendar.

As i cannot reproduce this behaviour, anyone knows what kind of
configuration/anomaly produces this result ?

Uhh.. if you find out let us know please. That's what I am trying to
accomplish, unfortunately it's not possible in Outlook. Unless she has
some VBA macro installed.
 
I have heard of this behavior before, but have never been able to duplicate the effect. Please tell us *exactly* what are the permissions on the folder.

Hello Sue, thanks for your reply;

Permissions are as follows:

Myself as owner (Enterprise Admin, Full Exchange Admin)
Default and anonymous as contributor (folder not visible)
4 other users as Publishing Editors (same behaviour in all)
 
And it's the Publishing Editors who are seeing this issue?

Alas, I can't duplicate the problem here no matter how hard I try. Let us know if you come up with any more details that we can use to try to get the same results.
