From tilme to time my XP-pc seems to have a grudge
against me.

When playing som of my games, suddenly a blue screen
appears. Claiming to beeing prventing a systemfailure by
saving all psysical memory to my HD. All I can do, is to
wait it out or do a hard reboot. My sypport contact in DK
does not know why or what it´s doing. But it appears to
be a common problem.

SO how do I stop it from happening again...

The games are crashing, and the systems auto restart is cutting in.
Turn this off: in Control Panel - System - Advanced, click Settings in
the Startup and Recovery section. There uncheck 'automatically
restart'. You can also usefully change the 'write debugging
information' to (none) which will stop the dump side of the failure.
You may now get a Blue screen failure instead, but at least will get
some guidance as to what is happening

Do *not* go disabling the Paging executive.
