pst recovery

Unable to recover a pst file in Outlook 2000 OS Win XP.

Prompted with message " Properties for this information
service must be defined prior to use"
then another message
"File access denied. You do not have permission required
to access the file C: Documents and Settings\Local
Setings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Personal
folders 2 .pst"
Now I am able to access my Outook but my
Inbox/Sent/Deleted items are empty.

Please assist

Right click on the file and ensure it is not marked Read-Only on its
property page.

I was able to retreive the pst files ok
