PST Backups

As PST files cant go on the network drives they have to go on the local C:\
drive. I was wondering if anyone knows a way to remotely backup the PST files
on 50 PCs to a network drive?

I don't know what you mean by "remotely backup" - remotely run or
initiate the backup? However you do that, PST backups are useless if
they are done while Outlook is running. The PST file(s) must be closed
during the backup operation.

Hi Evian,

you could try the freeware "PFbackuptool" and selec a "network drive" for
the storage of the copy of the PST:

If your PCs are always "online", also in the night, you could use our
freeware script which makes a copy of a local PST file to a network drive:

If you want to copy the PST file to a "Server", NAS or a backup computer,
you can use a VBscript to copy automatically a PST file to another location:

Maybe it helps.
