PS experts needed

I have on hand a pwr. supply which was provided as a free replacement
for the embarrassment of a PS that fried my kid's Athlon last year. The
new part is the
HEC-450LD-T from Herolchi Electronic. It has a bottom intake-fan and a
ball-bearing exhaust fan. By appearances, const. seems ok. Sum power of
+5v and
+3.3v is 220W. Total power output=451W. I'll eventually
(after robbing a 7-11 for the money) be putting together a Athlon64
single-core with modest but usable graphics, no vid games.

Question is, should I just **** myself now or wait for the power-supply
to do it?

Who knows? Almost nobody is posting about
their really good systems, so we never get a clue
about what actually works .. just about what
doesn't work. Right now, I have a system that
is really nice. It is only moderately obsolete
since I built it about 8 months ago. I won't post
the specs, because I'm having to do a $400
upgrade in order to get Gothic 3 to run well.

Herolchi was used as a contract supplier for Antec, before
Antec started using Channelwell (CWT). I have a Herolchi-based
Antec here, that still works OK. I don't know any more than
that.

Thanks, Paul. Maybe I'll pop the cover and have a look at the components.
