Can anyone tell me where and how I can purchase a copy of VSTO version 2003.
I already have installed on my machine Visual Studio.NET 2003 and Microsoft
Office Professional 2003 as I believe I need VSTO version 2003 to allow me to
create runtime versions of my database - is this correct ?

Yes, you need Visual Studio Tools for Office 2003 (which includes the Access
2003 Developer Extensions) in order to create an Access 2003 runtime
application:

The ADE is the product that gives you the license to deploy the 2003 runtime
components (and you have to have Access 2003 installed in order to install
the ADE)

If you're using MSDN, note that while VSTO is available in all subscription
levels of MSDN, the Access Developer Extensions are not included with all
versions. ADE is only available at Universal level.

The stand-alone VSTO box includes both VSTO and the ADE.

See http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/office/officetools.aspx for more
details

The KB article to which you point is for Access 2000, not Access 2003, which
is what kaz is asking about.

As well, note that you must already have a licensed copy of Microsoft Office
2000 Developer before you can use Microsoft Access 2000 Run-Time Minimum.

In addition to Doug's answer see Microsoft Access (Office) Developer
