When installing proxy 2.0 on windows 2000 server using the installation
wizard I get the following error message "setup has determined that IIs 4.0's
current configuration is not suitable for proxy server"

Does anyone have an idea what is the problem?

IIS 4 is Internet Information Service. Normally, Windows 2000 comes with
version 5

To check if you have IIS installed do this:

A quick check: See if the 'InetPud' folder exists in the root drive of where
Windows is installed. Example: C:\InetPub

The correct way to see if IIS is installed:

Place your Windows 2000 disc in the CD ROM.

Click START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL, ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS & then click the
ADD/REMOVE WINDOWS COMPONENTS button on the left.

Check to see if there is a check mark in the Internet Information Service.
If not, install it.

IIS is already installed.
