proxy autodetection in Vista/IE7 fails

somehow the proxy autodetection fails in vista. It appends an /N to the
information it received from our DHCPserver and therefore it's unable to
use the information. On 2000 and XP it worked allright.

Tips? Or have MS to fix it?

Do you mean you have checked "Automatically detect settings" in Internet
Explorer\Tools\Internet Options\Connections\LAN Settings but it cannot
obtain the proper proxy configuration from DHCP server?

What means "/N"?

Can you manually input the proxy server in IE to see if it can work?
