I have a workbook containing 8 different "tabs" or sheets and I wanted
to know if there is a way to protect each sheet with a password so I
can send the same spreadsheet to 8 different users but they can only
see the one that they are supposed to look at.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thank you all

Hi
not really possible with Excel as the in-build protection
is very weak. So I wouldn't recommend this

Any other suggestions on how I may be able to do this. There is
actually a column that has sensitive information that the person may
opt to use but the other people that are sent should not look at.
Any help would be appreciated greatly, THANKS

Could you hide all the columns in every sheet then protect each sheet
with a different password. Then all the user has to do is unprotect his
or her sheet then unhide columns.

Securely.........

You keep the master with 8 worsksheets. Break it out into 8 new workbooks.

Send each user an individual copy of a workbook they are allowed to view.

Send each user a hard copy of their portion.

Use Ron de Bruin's Sendmail add-in to email one sheet to each user.

Passwords too easily cracked, especially worksheet passwords.

A moderately knowledgeable user can find crackers on the 'net or in these news
groups.
