Greetings,

Does anyone know the best way of troubleshooting the popup
messages indicating "the function address 0xxxxxxxxx
caused a protection fault...."?

thanks
Kahn

Often those will reference some application/service/etc at the start of the
error msg indicating what actually caused it, but if you're not seeing that,
what is happening when it appears (trying to do properties on a file,
opening an app, etc)
Those can be caused by any number of apps etc so with just the description
below couldn't tell you a lot, but if you have more info about the app
and/or situation when they appear, it will help.
Are you also seeing any events in the logs corresponding to the time they
appear that look related to the problem.
thanks
