Protection causes unwanted cursor movement

I think you mean you are selecting multiple cells? No, that's not wha
I have. I am selecting a single cell keying a number and pressin
"enter". I would expect the cursor not to move but it goes down
line

My next guess is....Do you have any helpful macros running in the background.

If you close your workbook and reopen with macros disabled, do you get the same
response?
