Btw, IrFanview does it too...it's just hard to find the feature.
If you don't have IrFanview you should (and its free too)

Is there is simple way to protect pictures on a website so that they can't be
copied? I am having a problem with someone stealing pictures and claiming
that they are her own. I have been using the mouseover replacement thing and
putting a blank picture as the replacement. That way, the thief can't right
click and copy, but I'm sure there's a way around that. Thanks

Take a picture of you holding a well known newspaper up that has big
headlines .... and with a dog .. that appears in one of the newer pictures
she has stolen .... do it with a few of the dogs... then email them to the
web host...what can be clearer than that?

Also find out her domain host,
find out if the web host is a reseller and email THEIR uplink ..
found out her isp and email them ...

is she linking to the pictures on your site? ... and stealing your bandwith?
Sounds like she is resaving them instead.

Report her to any local dog breeders clubs or whatnot she says she belongs
to ... to any ads or affiliates she has on her site....

Send her and her web host, (and or uplink) and isp cease and desist notices.

Do you have a board of trade? Report her for being fraudulent .. heck report
her to her local police... she is selling 'item's' under false pretences.

From now on watermark your photos... and it may be time consuming but update
photos a day with watermarks on your site ...it's worth it.

Thanks for all the ideas. The one about holding the dogs with a current
newspaper is good. We have done pretty well all the rest. It is in the
hands of the authorities.
