Hello,

I have a winner here:

How would you go about protecting a copied image of a signature inserted on
a Word document, so it cannot be copied, pasted, or edited to other documents?

Thanks in advance for you help

ANYTHING that can be displayed can be copied, pasted or copied and edited in
one way or another, and most users are capable of it after a moment's
tought. The only way to keep something 100% secure is to not divulge it.

I believe that there is no way of doing this in a plain Word document.

Because if the signature is a simple graphic you cannot protect it. While
ff it is a unique
truetype font and you turn off font embedding while it cannot be copied by
the recipient it will not display as a signature but as simple text.

A simple method of protection in word is topassword protect the message and
attach it to the email which gives a hint the reciever, but not other
people, can understand for the password.
