Protected worksheets

I have a workbook that I share. On the individual
worksheets I have protected certain columns. I have
unlocked the columns that I want people that I share with
to be able to enter data. These people are able to add
data to the unprotected areas of the worksheet but are not
able to embolden, change the color of the font or fill any
of the unprotected areas. I there something I can do to
change this.

If I understand you correctly, this feature is only available in XL 2002
(XP) and above
