Protect and Edit Object

When I protect a worksheet I normally check the Edit Objects box along withother items. More often than not when I unprotect the sheet to edit it andthen go to protect it again the Edit Object is automatically unchecked. All my other checked items remained checked. Is there a way of stopping Excelremoving the check in the Edit Object box? Stu

Some of the protection settings are non-persistent, meaning you must
reset them whenever protection is [re]applied.

Note that the UserInterfaceOnly setting does not persist between
sessions. That parameter needs to be reset every time the file is
opened.

Note also that to reset protection parameters requires unprotecting
beforehand.
