Pro's and Con's of File Sharing

Can someone help me out as I have to do a report on whether or not we should
enable or disable File and Print Sharing on our network and what the Pro's
and Cons are or maybe a website or article.



I think a few are

Remote Management of PC trhough Computer Manager
Being able to push our AntiVirus SAV Corporate Edition to remote machiene
using the Admin$ Share.
Being able to access the PC's file system

I will secure the PC and use nothing other then the defulat shares

If you've protected your network at the perimeter with a good firewall, and
kept all computers patched, and not granted users local admin rights, I'd
leave it enabled. Up to you. But I wouldn't think any corporate antivirus
product would require access to the local admin share in order to push out
updates.... ?
