proquota.exe taking up too much memory

Hi,

I have a GPO on my Windows Server 2003 that limits the roaming profile size
on Users' Desktops to 30 MB (not including the redirected folders). A user
running XP w/SP2 (32-bit) is complaining that the Memory Usage of
proquota.exe is increasing gradually, up to 115MB at times when he's logged
on for a long time (with CPU oscillating between 0% and 2-3 %).

The profile quota icon in the taskbar tray has a warning sign which says
"Caution: available profile size 1892 KB" since he's currently using 28,108
KB. It sometimes feels like his whole OS is freezing, but that might not be
related to the proquota issue (specially that he has a dual core with 2GB of
RAM). When he logs out/in, Mem usage start at around 1.5 MB, and we believe
it increases gradually with time.

First of all is this normal behavior? If not, is there a suggested fix?

Thank you
