Proplem Copying Notes

When I try to copy the notes in the Notes folder to another folder by
selecting all notes, copying it and then pasting it to new folder, I
get the following message:

"Creating a new item from the selected items could take some time. Are
you sure you want to create a new item from these 292 items?"

When I click Yes, i get the message:

"Out of memory or system resources. Close some windows or programs and
try again."

I closed everything except outlook, tried it again and i get the same
message.

Questions:
1. Why does this happen?
2. What is the best way to copy notes to another folder when you have
more than 50 notes?

For what version of Outlook?
Tried it in a listview already instead of using the icons view?

Outlook is trying to make a single new item out of your 292 Notes - that
would suggest to me that your are dropping them into a folder that is not a
Notes type of folder. Make sure to use the correct folder type or it will
convert the Notes.

Outlook 2003 SP1
I was trying it in listview

It is a notes folder.

incidentally, when I copy the whole folder i have no problems.
