Prompts from one parameter query appearing in all queries

Guest

I created one parameter query prompting to enter date range. When I created
another query with no parameters and started it, it also asked me for the
date range. How can I get rid of the prompts in the other query? I looked in
the Query-Parameters… and it’s empty, so I am really puzzles by where this
query gets these parameters.

Please help.

Is the query prompting for dates, based on another query? Does the source
query have these parameters?

Is the second query based on the first query? That would be one way the
second query "inherits" the prompt.

Have you opened the second query in design view and clicked on Query |
Parameters in the menu? Are there any parameters "hard-coded" in the
Parameters window that pops up?
