Is there a way to build prompts in Word 2007? In WordPerfect when you
created a template you were able to build in a prompt which allowed you to
enter the information and then the typed information was placed in the
appropriate location on the template. This was like a quick data entry form.
I would like to know if Word 2007 has this feature or something like it
available.--

Yes, it's possible. place curser in appropriate place, go to Insert menu,
select Field option. Select "Fill in" from the field names list. In the
prompt box, write a prompt to guide user as to what should be inserted.

Save document as a template. When document is next opened, a box will
appear first asking for the relevant information.

Hope that helps
