prompting - re changes to normal.dot

I'm trying to get my pdf toolbar (it's gone). When I delete my normal.dot
.... I keep getting prompted that changes have been made to normal.dot.
Where do I disable that from happening.

Please and thanks. Diana

The PDF toolbar is placed by Adobe Acrobat's add-in, and not normal.dot.
If you delete normal.dot, of course you will get a prompt to save
normal.dot. Word has created a new one. You don't want to disable this.
If you let us know exactly what you have done and what you are trying to do
we might be better placed to answer in more detail.

Thanks Graham.
I did know that Word would regenerate a new normal.dot after it was deleted.
I'll let it keep notifying me ... it's not a big deal. I enabled it ...
just can't remember how to disable it. Not a problem.

On the pdf toolbar ... I finally thought of checking for addins after
doing a bit more searching. I enabled the pdf addin and the toolbar is back
up and running (it was listed, but not enabled after installing Office
2003). Now all I have to do is figure out "again" how to get the hyperlinks
to work in the created pdf file. I had it working before, but can't seem to
get it to work again. Bummer!

Thanks for your help.
