Prompt to choose which account to send from?

Guest

I have multiple email accounts which I access in the same profiles. That
works fine except that when I want to send an email from accounts other than
the default one, I sometimes forget to change the 'sent from' account away
from the default account to the one I intend to use (even if it only a mouse
click away...).

Is there a way to always be prompted about which account you want to send a
(new) email from?

Thanks

This is not built in to Outlook.

You may also want to have a look at SendAccount 4Outlook.
http://www.addins4outlook.com/sendaccount/

A common problem with using multiple accounts is accidentally sending out an
e-mail using the wrong account e.g. sending a business-mail using your
personal e-mail account.

Send Account lets you set a preferred account for each person you write to.

It warns if you if you try and send an e-mail to someone using the wrong
account.

Suggestion, set up an email signature for each account that is distinct for that Account. Then, in Outlook, assign a per account signature under Tools->options->Mail Format tab (note - turn off word as the editor when doing this and set one as the default. Turn back on using Word as the editor.

Open a new mail message and you can right click your signature that appears and change it to correspond to the account you want to use on the fly.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Henrik asked:
