Promise Sata 378

I am trying to install RC1 (32 bit) on a Promise Sata Raid device and Vista
can't see my drive. This worked very well with Beta 2 using my XP driver but
not RC1. I have tried booting from the DVD and running from windows. Vista
appears to install the driver but doesn't see the drive afterwards. Any
suggestions or comments?

Hi Charlie

I am running RC1 on SATA Raid with Promise 378 controller and all OK, the
only difference I have a different MB/D it's an Asus K8V SE Deluxe.

I have an Asus P4C800-E Deluxe board with the same
Promise Sata/ATA Raid drivers. The XP or
2003 Server drivers should work for you. I did
have the same bit of trouble you're having however.
When booting from the DVD and you get to the point
where you've just installed the drivers, instead of going
forward, close the window and start over. This time
you should be able to see your drives.
