Project doesn't run properly

When a run a project in Vb .Net it builds Ok, but the project does not appear
to run. The exe is shown as running in task manager but the form does not
appear on the screen. This problem occurs no matter the VB project I am
running. The only way to stop it is to kill both the project exe process and
the .Net application in task manager. This problem only appears to have
arisen since we've upgraded to Symantec Client Security 3.0. Could this be
the problem? Although when I disable the firewall and file system
autoproject the problem still occurs. The built exe runs fime outside
Visual Studio .Net.l

Any suggestions?

This problem only appears to have
arisen since we've upgraded to Symantec Client Security 3.0.

Why not in past there were a lot of problems with McAfee version 8. We now
know that there is a patch for that, so why not contact Symantec and let us
know the result after that?

I suspect my .Net installation had gone wrong somehow as I tested on one of
my colegues machines and the problem does not occur. He has also undergone a
Symantec upgrade. I'm going to rebuild .Net tommorrow and see if that cures
the problem.
