Project Deployment for Pocket CP 2003 and WM5

Hi All,

I'm trying to deploy a project that will run both on 2003 and wm5 devices.
And I need an advice on the subject.
Do I need to create 2 separate projects one for every device?
And if so what should I change in the ini file to point to in which platform
to deploy which cab file.

Hi there,
I'm trying to deploy a project that will run both on 2003 and wm5 devices.
Do I need to create 2 separate projects one for every device?

The easiest way to do this is using our app, PocketPC Installer:
http://www.pocketpcinstaller.com

Basically, you drag'n'drop your WM2003 and WM2005 .cab files
into the app. For each file, there are three tickboxes, one for
PPC2002, WM2003 and WM2005.

Put a tick in the relevant boxes, and that file will be installed
on that device type.

From there, our app *compresses* all of your files into one,
single installer .exe file that you can run on your PDA.
Remember - most of your .cab files aren't compressed, so this
saved a load of space.

Oh, and it ALSO creates one, single Desktop .exe. This also
contains all of your PDA .cab files, compressed, but in an .exe
that you can run on your Desktop.

Two different ways of installing your app, you just have
to decide which is most useful for you, use the appropriate
..exe and discard the other.

Have a look at the screenshots on the website, it'll make
sense straightaway.

It couldn't be easier.

Let us know what you think.
