Programs won't open :(

I'm not exactly sure what I did, but somehow, all the programs on my computer
now use winzip as default opening program. I really have no idea what to do.
All other files such as music, video, text, etc open fine, but whenever I try
to launch anything from windows explorer to sims 2 I get a prompt to choose a
program to open these files...This is strange and worrying. Please help :)

Nope, hasn't changed a thing. Guess I'll just have to re-install Windows.
Thanks for trying though.

I don't understand why xp_exe_fix.reg didn't work.
Did you extract it from the .zip file then right-click it and select
Merge?

Are you certain it is the .exe association that is faulty? If you are
launching a shortcut instead of directly launching a .exe file then it
may be the .lnk association.
