programs starting automatically

Help. there are 26 programs automatically starting each
time i turn my computer on. i don't know which ones i
really need and which ones i don't. how do i stop this
automatic process??? Which ones do i need???? where did
they come from and who turned them on????

Start - Run and run MSConfig.exe

Look in the Startup page, and tell us folder and program names from the
Command column. Someone will be able to explain what most of them are
