Programs on load up

I have a problem and was hoping someone could help me. I must have been on a
website or opened an email or something that installed a program in my
computer. Ever since this happened I have been getting a ton of junk / bogus
email. I used Ad-Aware and found some programs which I uninstalled or
quarenteened. HOWEVER, after taking the programs out...they reload or come
back on reboot. An internet explorer window opens up and tells me that this
program has been reinstalled. BUT I CAN'T FIND OUT WHAT IT IS CALLED, WHERE
IT IS, ETC. Can anyone help me figure out what programs load / install on
bootup. I tried watching task manager as the computer boots but it only
shows me "ieexplorer" since that is the program that installs it. Any help
would be much appreciated as I have something installed and can't seem to
get rid of it. Thanks.

Try this:
Open IE | Tools | Internet Options | General tab | Settings button |
View Objects | Right click offending object | Remove
