programs lists display incorrectly in add/or remove programs window

my currently installed programs lists display in two
groups at top and bottom in Add or Remove Programs window
with long blank space in the middle, try to sort the list
by name, size etc without success, any solutions please?

If you are using autocad download "Remove the White Space from Add or Remove" at http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm. This is a autocad specific fix.

I tried to export all the Registry keys in uninstall
delete it and import them back with no success, next I
went to kelly`s site, get the script file and run it,it
said white space has been remove but it`s still there,
thanks you all for your reply Stuart,PaulM,DavidCandy,
for now I`ll leave it, no harm anyway thanks again >-----

Look for an entry that has a negitive number for the icon.

I went back to remove the program immidiately above the
long space as Stuart`s post and that remove the blank
space finally, thanks again

Which program was it? And did you happen to notice if DisplayIcon was set
to a negative icon number?
