Programs hiding after Transfer Wizard

Using Windows XP SP2 (old computer) to XP Pro (new computer), I see that the
hard disk contents did transfer, but when I use the task bar "Start/ All
Programs" the files are not listed. Under task bar "Explore" they are there,
but I can't get them to run. Do I have to reload all the programs manually?
Will this delete the associated files and settings if I do this?

The FAST wizard only transfers data and settings. You'll have to reinstall
the programs.
