Programming on excel sheet

Is it possible to set say if date not equals current date column=next column
and disable writing to other than current date?

It is not clear what you want. An example of what you want will help.

Lets say todays date is 11 nov and there's a column marked 11 nov (lets say
column A). It is only possible to enter data into column A only if today is
11 nov. Same thing goes on with column B and so on while preventing users to
write on columns which isn't marked for today's date. Thanks
