Programmatically verify EWF is enabled

We have an embedded system that is going to use EWF and HORM. For updates, I
would like to have a program check to see if EWF is enabled on the partition
before HORM is enabled. I looked through MSDN, but didn't see anything that
jumped out and would give me that information

Is there a way to programmatically check to see if EWF is enabled?
