Programmatically validate text entries in Microsoft Excel

how can i programmatically generate the excel file which validate text
entries? i'm usign vb script to generate the excel file.

you may provide some more details:#
- how are the values entered
- what kind of validation do you want to apply

also check if 'Data -Validation' is sufficient for you
