Program too big to fit in memory

I'm getting the error "Program too big to fit in memory" when trying to
install certain programs. i.e Ulead Video Tutorial, Call of Duty 2.

I have a Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz, 512 MB RAM.

I tried adjusting the virtual memory settings and the display settings and
no luck.

I've also used TaskManager to close all running applications except for the
ones needed by the system.
 
I've tried it on 3 different computers. Are you saying it's a DLL file
within those 2 programs
or a Windows DLL file ?

If you cannot run the Call of Duty tutorial Ulead latter may not be
compatible. I have no problem with WinDVD7
