When I try to open Movie Maker I get the following pop up "Windows Movie
Maker can not be used because the required audio hardware cannot be found on
your computer". Does anyone know what this means? I have used Movie Maker
for three months and have never had this problem?

I have not deleted or added any software since last use. Other than using
Corel photo edtior and the internet I haven't used the computer since the
last use of Movie Maker. I also have had some problems with my computer
freezing up on me. Don't know if these are related?

Well is your audio working?
Do you have system sounds?
Try playing an audio file in Media Player to see if it works.
Check Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs -> Hardware to see if the audio
driver shows up as having a problem.

oops that's what I meant but my brain said Add/Remove programs instead.
Thanks Graham for seeing my brain fart :)
