Program hiding from me

I find that if I am in Mirc engaged in a active room or DCC chat and have to
minimise the screen for any reason it disappears. I can look everywhere down
to a clean toolbar and desktop and even find no programs running in task
manager>applications Which also shows minimal 1% CPU activity.
After returning to computer in 10 minutes or so I find Mirc up and running
just as it was prior to disappearing.
Running XP PRO SP3 plenty of memory and disk space. What could be causing
this magic trick?

Thank you BUT I believe I want to know if this tweek actually applies to my
problem before I try it. I resist installing undocumented tweeks.

It "(Restores Taskbar to Default Functionality)" rather than creating
unique registry entries.

You can save the vbs file to the desktop, then right-click, click Edit
and it'll open in Wordpad or the like and you can study the registry
changes it incorporates.

You can create a restore point before editing the registry. Revert to
that restore point if you don't like the results. Or just look for
another solution.
