Program for writing IPTC-information

Hi, I need a simple piece of software, that allows me to
write IPTC-information into images. It has to be able to write the
information into several images at the same time. (Batch or something
like that) I've been through a whole lot of software on tucows, but
nothing seems to meet my needs.
Any ideas?

Q: How to change JPG IPTC/Comment data for many images (batch
mode)?
A: In the Thumbnails window, select many JPG images/files and use
the menu JPG Lossless Operations à Set IPTC data/Comment to selected
thumbs. The data for the first image is applied to all files. The IPTC
dialog offers additional options.

XnView can do edit IPTC

PixVue is a great little application for iptc additions or editing. As
a genealogist I couldn't do without it. And it integrates with Windows
so you can just right click on an image and open the editor or view the
data.
