Program for remembering icon locations on multiple monitors (3 to be exact)

Not sure what to call the program although I have used one in the past
(Win98) named Icon something or other......

But anyway, I've built a new system and finally got me not one, not two
but... three LCD monitors connected up and loving it. So now I can have my
CAD program running on one, a spreadsheet on another and satellite photo's
on the third.

Got dual Asus EN6800GT cards (Nvidia) and all is well - almost. Every once
in awhile I or one of the programs will do something stupid - like change a
screen resolution or rotate it 90° and when you return to normal, most of
the icons get moved.

Now I'm not the most organized guy in the world but I have sections on
screens where I have icons grouped for project folders etc. I have a lot of
shortcuts on my screens and it's the way I'm used to working. When they get
scrambled - it really, really irritates the hell out of me and I have to
sort them all out again.

Anyone know of a program (free or otherwise) that will remember locations of
icons on multiple screens? I've not had much luck using some Nvidia utility
because it won't work on anything more than two screens.

Suggestions are appreciated. And even if you don't know of a program to do
the above - if you know what to call it (screen manager, icon logger....)
that would be helpful in doing a search.

Thanks,

Bob S.

Gimpy,

Perfect ! Appears to be working just fine and I appreciate your time in
responding to my post. Thank you.

Just a note for others that may want to try it. In order to see the added
menu items "Save Desktop Icon Layout" and "Restore Desktop Icon Layout" you
must right-click on a "System" icon (i.e. My Computer, Recycle Bin, My
Network Places, My Documents, etc.) and they cannot be shortcuts to those
system icons.
