Profile Missing

I have a laptop on XP SP2 and it deletes my profile every time I reboot it.
I am on corporate domain but my profile is not setup as roaming. I did a
system restore from a month ago and my profile was there afterward but once
I rebooted it was gone again. Has anyone seen this before? I really don't
have time to rebuild the whole system and would like to get the restore to
stick. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

What happens if you utilize the "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard" to
export your profile, you create a new profile on the machine and then import
that profile in and then reboot - using the new profile?

(Just curious.)

IIRC you've asked this before. What does your IT group say? If there is
a problem with your system, they are the first line of support.

Is your profile a member of the Guest group?

I am the IT group.

I am not a member of the Guest group.

This seems to be geared more toward local accounts and I am dealing with a
domain account. I will try it just for testing purposes after I complete a
couple of other tests.

This actually worked. I did the system restore, used the wizard to export,
rebooted and therefore recreating my profile, used the wizard to import,
rebooted and everything was fine.

Problem has been resolved. Thanks to everyone for the ideas and
contributions.
