I HAVE MS WORD ON MY PC.WHEN I TRY TO USE IT I GET A BOX
THAT WANTS ME TO ENTER MY PRODUCT KEY #. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT
HAPPENED TO THIS #,OR WHERE TO LOCATE IT. IS THERE ANYTHING
I CAN DO TO USE THIS PROGRAM OR IS IT NOW TRASH?

1. Do not post with all caps.

2. How did you install WORD on your PC? Did it come in a
software package pre-installed by the mfg'r? Did you buy
OFFICE or MS WORKS SUITE (with WORD) and install it
yourself? Or did a friend install it with their CD borrowed
from work?

If it is retail and you have anything to prove ownership, you may be able to
get a replacement key. If it is OEM [i.e. it came installed on the computer]
you will need to contact the manufacturer of the computer.
Contact Microsoft.

The product key is on the back of he original CD case.
