When I enter product key in startup window (while trying
to open word or excel) I get a "Product key not
recognized" message. A new computer with XP installed.
And I already activated. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Are you using the right Product Key for these programs? For instance, you
can't use your WinXP Product Key for an installation of any MSOffice
program, they use different keys.

Product key for what application? What are you trying to do?
Generically, many product keys are hard to read: be sure you are
entering it correctly; i.e., upper/lower case is correct, B's are not
8's, zeros are not letters, etc.
