Lois

This is probably a naive question. I purchased a new OEM
copy of Windows XP Professional. My husband
inadvertently threw away the case with the COA and
Product Key on it. Is there any way that I can still use
the CD or do I have to buy a new copy?

Help!

Try to retreve the Product Key as you would need this for
future reference. If you do not have this then you need
to contact a local computer store for asstance.

Good Luck!

hi Lois,

If you have lost the case of the CD which had he product
key, you can contact your OEM or the computer manufacturer
as they can provide you with new produt key

regards,
sandy

If xp is still on the computer then download the free
belarc advisor at the following location and run it. It
will not only give you the key but others also and other
important info on your computer. I would save a copy of
it when you have run the advisor.
