Product Key

I have received 28 Dell computers loaded with Microsoft
Windows 2000. However, in unpacking I did not keep the
packages of software, etc., with the exact computer. Now,
it has become necessary for me to reload windows on one of
the computers and of course I don't know which computer
has the product key for this particular Win cd I used. Is
there a blanket product key that will work, or how can I
find the encoded key on this particular cd rather than
having to go to all these classrooms and write down the
product key attached to the computer and try every one of
them? Help!

There are key-extractors available on the Internet. They
work. Google it and use at your own risk. Some hacker
sites dress up viruses as such tools.

Greetings --

Since you have OEM installations, each machine's assigned Product
Key is on a label affixed to the PC. The OEM CDs are, themselves,
interchangeable.

Greetings --

Why go to the trouble to extract a Product Key that is clearly
displayed on a label affixed to each PC? Anyway, the revealed Product
Key would be that of the drive
image used at the factory, and not the PC's specific Product Key.
