i had to reinstall my frontpage 2002 the other day but i canot finst the case
with the product id on i have the original cd the box and everything, how
would i e able to get the id so i can install it i have looked on the help
page on microsoft ut i have to pay for any assistance. please can somone help
me with this

Sorry, the only way to get the product key is to call Microsoft.

it should be in the registry. Download a product called "Belarc Advisor" which
can tell you all the cd-keys for all your programs. www.belarcadvisor.com

actually you can dig it out of the registry - the OP said he reinstalled FP, not
Windows so this assumes everything is still intact.

The number in the Registry is the PID, not the cd-key. They are not one and
the same.

Harvey, Microsoft will not charge you for assistance on this. Call them.
